At Vinet School, we place great importance on the personal development of our students, and drama classes are an excellent example of this. Taking part in drama lessons helps students express themselves more confidently in public, build self-confidence, and develop their speaking skills.
At Vinet School, we place great importance on the personal development of our students, and drama classes are an excellent example of this. Beyond simple stage performance, theatre allows students to acquire essential skills for their future.
Taking part in drama lessons helps students express themselves more confidently in public, build self-confidence, and develop their oral fluency. It is also an excellent way to learn discipline—particularly when it comes to memorising lines, respecting rhythm, and fully committing to a collective project. Theatre also teaches a fundamental value: how to share the stage, listen to others, and work as a team—skills that are essential in tomorrow’s world.
This year, our students had the opportunity to stage a production inspired by the famous book The Little Prince. Throughout the school year, they worked with dedication and perseverance to bring this project to life. Over three intensive days, they devoted their time to rehearsing, refining their roles, and preparing for the performances.
On the evening of the show, they performed on stage in front of an audience of parents, friends, and guests who came in large numbers to share this unique moment. Despite a few moments of stage fright—which is entirely natural—the students delivered a remarkable performance full of emotion and creativity.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this artistic adventure, and we hope they will keep a precious memory of this experience. Who knows? Perhaps among them are future actors who will one day shine on major stages or in cinema!
One thing is certain: through theatre, our students grow, express themselves, and learn to believe in themselves.
