Highly qualified and passionate, our teachers combine rigor with care to support each student. Available, attentive, and responsive, they are committed to helping young people progress—from primary school (7th and 8th grade) to secondary school (up to 11th grade)—and to supporting non-French-speaking students, those who have not studied German, or those coming from another school system in integrating and following the Vaud curriculum. Small class sizes of up to 18 students promote effective learning and individualized attention.
The teaching methods used are adapted to the students’ age as well as to the subjects taught. Teachers ensure that their practices are varied in order to spark students’ enthusiasm.
Learning in an enjoyable way is highly motivating.
Discovering and deepening knowledge by carrying out concrete projects.
Collaborating to develop social skills and critical thinking.
Using digital tools to enrich and diversify learning experiences.

Each year, our new teachers are trained in this approach in order to better understand students’ learning processes and adapt their teaching practices accordingly.
Practical tools for managing classroom situations by combining firmness (respect for the framework and rules) with kindness (respect for the student).
Tools to guide students through concrete projects that link theory and practice, making learning engaging and motivating.
Tools to demonstrate how AI can support teachers’ practices and help guide students in its responsible and effective use.
At Vinet, teachers vary their pedagogical approaches to engage every student and stimulate motivation, while providing individualized support, guidance, and attentive listening. This enables each young person to progress at their own pace, gain independence, and approach each school transition with confidence and peace of mind.

We are the parents of three children who all attended École Vinet, each with their own journey, strengths, and challenges. Two of our children have ADD, and the third lives with ADHD, high potential, and Tourette syndrome. Despite these particularities, they were all welcomed with exceptional kindness.
At École Vinet, we found much more than a place of learning: a team that listens, is committed, and deeply human.
A very special thank you to Mrs. Kaba, an incredible principal, always present and attentive. For us, she has become much more than a school figure.
Our three children were also fortunate to have Mrs. Monnet as their main teacher. Gentle, demanding, and deeply dedicated, she left a very valuable mark on their journey.
And of course, Mrs. Seara, whom we will never forget. Her presence, attention, and energy brightened their daily life at school.
Thank you to the entire École Vinet team for these rich, human, and unforgettable years. You have left a mark in the hearts of our children — and in ours.

I am currently at the University of Texas in the United States (El Paso), where I have been awarded a scholarship to pursue my studies and represent the university’s golf team. I have just completed my first year and am preparing to represent Switzerland at the European Championships for the second consecutive year. The teachings of École Vinet, particularly respect and organization, continue to guide me in my academic and athletic journey. I am grateful to École Vinet for helping me find the right path for my professional future.

No student was ever left confused if they asked for help. Teachers even went as far as offering additional lessons to satisfy students’ curiosity. École Vinet was one of the best periods of my school life.
